Wireless Weirdness

Good day kids, and Al,
I have a head scratcher for a laugh. I have a Shure SLX2 transmitter that will not power on, or at least it will not STAY on for more than 2 seconds. Thoughts? oh, it went from working perfectly - being powered off - put away nicely to now it doesn't want to play...
A spider wanders aimlessly within the warmth of a shadow....
