Sennheiser Wireless Mic Capsule

What capsule would be in a mic listed as a Sennheiser SKM 3935 G2 Handheld?

E935? It's an older (2005ish) 300 series hand held wireless.

That is the assumption.

So I called Pointe-Claire to be certain and they said that there was no record of an SKM 3935 H2 ever existing.
There is of course an SKM 935 H2 and that certainly has a 935 capsule in it.

Thanks bro. It appears to have been supposed to be an SKM 300-935. Thanks for the double check.

What is your feeling on that head being a Sennheiser literate guy? Where does it fit in the scheme of cardioid dynamic vocal mics from Sennheiser?

I notice there appears to not be a 300 series RF with that head without it being a special order anymore. It seems to be a standard cap for the 500 series now.

Exactly.

The cardiod dynamic of the line, next is the 845 which is super-cardioid.
Not to be confused with the budget orientated 825 which has a narrower frequency range.
Last in the line is the 865 which is of course a condenser and has a yet wider range, very popular mic with singers live, Sting had his own 'Signature' model of it. It was our go to scratch vocal/control room vocal mic until I bought an AT 4054.
