TC Helicon

A customer called me about having 'fried' his TC Electronic Helicon Voice live 2. He had apparently plugged in a 2 amp 18 VAC adapter where it normally uses a 12VDC 1 amp one.
Here it is partially disassembled.
Here we see where an SMD capacitor has been vaporized, it likely served as a parasitic snubber between the ground plane and the Vin. I did not replace it as i do not stock SMD components and could not determine the value without a schematic.
Here is the roasted component.
Component FB00 here is actually an SMD fuse. The 'TN' marking on it denotes 2 amps. The fuse was indeed 'blown'.
Here is a replacement.
The unit is now reassembled, working and the owner is happy.
