These wires are from Bose Triport headphones I purchased in 2005. They still sound great, except while doing some maintenance, I cut one of the wires. While re-wiring back together, red to red, copper to copper, I can't get the right side of the cans to work. What you're looking at are the wires, and there are two them cut, leading only to the right side of the headphones. So there were two wires in one sheath. The copper was covered in a fabric, which I pulled back to expose. The red is where I'm not sure. It also has a fabric, but there is no copper, just the red which appears to be a wire as well. When I connected both, still no signal. Any advice is welcome. Thanks,
Tom
