Here is how to construct a DMX terminator. Select a 110 ohm resistor.(who can tell me what value I used?)

Connect the resistor between pins two and three of the 5 pin XLR connector. And voila.

You should explain to the folks why you need such a termination in a DMX signal path.

I built a terminator/test plug a while back the does double duty as a simple go/no go indicator. If I can find it in my travel kit, I'll post it.
