What a beautiful space. It seems to have such a wonderful vibe. Anyone familiar with it?

I'm familiar with a lot of Hayward's work.

I've checked out that website before and think the space is pretty unique.

I used to live nearby back in 2005 when the place was just being bought and the transformation into a studio was beginning. I knew about "the church that was going to be a studio," but I have never actually been there to check it out since it's been finished. The vibe does seem really nice, though!

I think there is something really amazing about taking an old religious monument and transforming it into a place of music and creativity.

That's amazing. The murals and stained glass would make such a cool environment to work in. Also I really like the music player. There are some really good songs on there

It's probably not the "where" but the "who".

Country mixes are supposed to be pretty hot in regards to the vocals, but I trust that you know you the difference between a country mix and something obviously wrong.

Like Malcolm said more than likely a "who". I know I have a tendancy to mix the vocals rather hot. Whether or not it's right, I can't say...lol

Sam,

Are these songs that you tracked? How did they end up going there for mixes?

Just curious, haven't heard much from here going there.

Lovely setup, however, the murals creep me out.

No, the 3 tunes i'm referring to were tracked at Phil Kennedy's place in Brown's Flat and then remixed at St Celilia. I had the job of working them into the master with the 8 tracks that were done at my place. Just way too too much vocals and the vocals had too much mid ....steve said his 70 year old manager at the time kept telling Hayward to turn the voice up!

the tunes were very well produced.
