Oh technology, how you've changed things.

Stuart Mclean's Vinyl Cafe was in with Bill Herault providing sound including a new Allen & Heath iLive console. Doing both FOH and 6 mix stage monitors, this is what his complete patch looked like.

That's one Ethernet cable for his "Snake" and one coaxial SPDIF cable for the L/R out to the house 5D.

The desk came right out of the case for setup. Simple and completely effective.

I've seen rigs like this. All the AD converters right on the stage box. Sends digital over ethernet... up to 300 feet.
