Another outdoor stage accident... Friends in Bathurst.

There appears to have been some type of tent/stage collapse in Bathurst this weekend at an event that some of our colleagues were working. Early info that I have indicates that no one was seriously injured.

One of the bands I think. Things went awry during sound checks. Weather blew in fast. Tent with one side open = BIG SAIL!

I was playing an outdoor show (without a tent or protection) at the Saint John Marina on Saturday and the weather was definitely scary looking.

In our case, though, we were fine because the big dark horizontal hurricane-like clouds blew right over us and we didn't even get a drop of rain. We jammed Riders On The Storm as the cloud passed over us and then it was clear skies all night long.

Thankfully no one was seriously hurt in Bathurst.
