Good idea, the firmware in the 01V96 is the latest but I did not check with the HD24 but I will.
I'll let you know.

So last night, Al and I effectively ruled out the recorder as the problem. We were able to control the recorder from my laptop, and have my DAW chase MTC from the recorder. Exactly what he wants the 01V96 to do.

So now we just need to figure out why we can't get the 01V to do it. ^^

So..They need to be on the same page although that page may be different. Got it.

Well guess what, 01V on 001 and HD24 on OOO and voila!

Thanks a million Malcolm.

I just realized that I didn't post what the problem was with the setup.

One of the magic MIDI numbers is 128, meaning basically that a value of 1-128 is the parameter range for some MIDI information like program changes, and in this case MMC masters.

The problem is that some devices are numbered 1-128, and some are numbered 0-127. So is 1=1? Not always, as in this case 1=0.

And that's about it. Fun with MIDI :!:
