What's your go to compressor plug in? I find Sound Forge's Wavehammer more transparent and natural than most, and i'm glad Sony shares it's plugs with other apps - ie Sonar. I like it better than sonitus although sonitus multiband kicks ass. Comments

Waves C1. I still use Sonitus on some things... For a general use compressor, the Waves is the one for me lately.

I like the wave hammer. I find you can really beat things down hard if you want,
and it still sounds good. You really, really have to over-do it to make it sound bad.

Hence, "hammer"... I have used the wave hammer for hard peak limiting, attack and release of 0 kinda stuff. I haven't really given it a chance as a over easy all purpose comp.
