Hmmm, I don't think there was ever a model CK-414. The capsule in the 414's used to be a CK-12, that would probably be where the CK comes from. But I think they all had something after that, EB-P48, B-ULS, something like that. If it's and old one it would most likely be some variation of EB or a B-ULS. Either way, like I said earlier, I think those two models would be more suited towards a kick drum as opposed to the newer transformerless designs.

Yeah, I was just going by my (feeble) memory. I'll check on the actual model number the next time I'm over to the studio.
It does resemble the second one from the right.

Can't tell from that picture, but if it's black than it's either an EB-P48 or a B-ULS. Either way it's a great mic.
