Cool. I'm gonna come to one of the shows and heckle you if you don't do a feedback solo!

I was really kind of on the fence as to whether or not to take on this gig. The main reason, of course, being the amount of pay involved. However, after meeting with the club owner, I was able to negotiate a deal that is a little more in line with the value of service provided. He was well aware that I am more than an 'entry level' sound tech and (thanks to Matt) convinced him that this would be a smart move on his part.
Now, I'm actually looking forward to settling into this weekly gig.
...wish me luck. :-|

A great deal was indeed struck. Both parties are happy and everybody's getting what they want. I couldn't have asked for anything better. It's raising the bar all around, which is not something I forsaw. So congratulations, enjoy your bird's eye view!

Now if you'll excuse me, Chapter 6 is getting cold... :-P

Thanks Thom... and yeah, no political involvement for me. I'll just keep reading the 'Chronicles' and laugh quietly to myself when I see something of reference happening....

It's easy to stay clear of the politics you simply choose to not get involved.
ALAudio Had nod problem achieving this.
