Sweet baby Jesus........

So quick question to the engineers, when her voice gives out in the end... How much of a hard-on would you have in the control room while tracking? I'd probably fall out of my chair. Imperfectly perfect.

I've had the pleasure of having similar things happen while sitting in the "producer/engineer" chair. It's amazing how most times, you have to talk people into keeping stuff like that.

I know what you mean. It could easily have been tossed aside as a bad take. I'm glad that it wasn't.

Sean was trying to tell me about her a while ago and I forgot to look her up. Someone else mentioned it to me last night. Wow..I'm very much into this.

BTW, I love Matt Chamberlain. He is the embodiment of the drummer I realistically want to be if I grow up.

I just picked up Give Up The Ghost this past weekend and it's great. Her phrasing reminds me a lot of country greats like Loretta Lynn and Tammy Wynette while her voice is far more Joline Erb. Check out Dying Day if you get a chance.

Awesome! You had me at "Jolene Erb". Thanks for the heads up!

Sigh... I once went on a date with the Erb Unit, well, we were not alone, there was a grand piano and I recall three or four microphones and some guy named Tascam... Mat knows what I'm talking about :-D

Mat still has the masters. Hot date if you ask me.
