Local favourite, "Big Easy"... all done.

Come hear the boys one more time, tonight at The Blue Olive.

Originally, this was to be John C's final gig with the band, but they have decided with Marc home to play this date, it is a nice time to call it quits after more than a decade.

I will be mixing this sure to be memorable night for fans of this local musical mainstay.

I would guess 10ish after a set by an "opener" at 9:00.

Thanks for a superb job mixing us Malcolm......it was an awesome time. And, of course, you had it sounding stellar.

Hey Warren, no prob!!

The "opener" was Jennifer Foster, or "Jennifer LFO". She is originally from here but has been in Toronto for a while. She was great. Her drummer is Michael Wojewoda who was the drummer for the Rheostatics and produced a bunch of cool stuff including the Barenaked Ladies, "Gordon".

Twas a good night. And thanks for the beers!!!

I remember I used to like the Rheostatics but can't remember the tunes right off.

It just kind of happened. Chris called me and asked if we minded if she played for an hour before we went on. We were able to extend the evening a little, so it was cool. I'm glad she did play....they were great....and very nice people.
