Telfer - Blue Olive Nov. 14th

Talked with Jon Goud last night, here are the details:

It's the Blue Olive at 10:30pm. We're opening for 'The Free Press' a great pop rock band from Toronto. We've done a handful of gigs with them in Ontario. They're really really great guys and they're really good at what they do.

Their music isn't mind-blowingly complicated, but they write well, they play well, and they all sing *really* well.

It's definitely worth sticking around for.

I don't know what cover is - my guess would be $5-6 ish.

I'd strongly recommend that you guys come check this out.

Unfortunately, working 'til almost midnight that night, and having to be in again at 8AM put the kibosh on me making it out.

I really do wanna catch Telfer live one of these times they're in town.

Fortunately, Jon keeps me in the know when they're coming around.

Roaddog was mixing, sounded great, probably the best they've sounded ever. The Free Press were good, they got better as the night wore on anyways. All in all, good times, bad turnout. I think Telfer should change their name to Elliott Brood.
