some of you know me, but for those who don't:

i'm steve, and i am with a hiphop band called curbside prawjek,
and as well, i write acoustic guitar songs. if you'd like a sample
of either, i put the links to them under my signature. any comments
are welcome, critics included.

the acoustic stuff is mostly one-take into a crappy mic plugged into my
pewtre while drunk. some time that i'm not feeling lazy, i plan to go back
to them and rerecord. right now, i just wanna share 'em, and maybe get
some feedback/advice/whatnot.

Hey Steve, I have heard some of your work in progress up in Jon's place. Really like the style, and the sound of what I have heard. I also enjoy the track from the "Coastline" disc, in spite of the Left/Right out of phase thing... ;-)

thanks malcolm. the left/right thing, i was kinda unaware of. i don't shit
about recording, so i just did the best i knew how to with what i had, which
was not much. paul asked me for a song for the comp, and i went, "when?
yeah, i think i can do that..." i like better the version me and jon are
working on.

The "Curbside" stuff is very cool. Sonically very decent, if it's been done the way I think, at Jon's place.

The dry vocal is cool, but a variety of sound treatment on the voice would go a long way to spice things up.

I like it... Album coming out?

thanks guys. i also forgot to mention that what i put up on the myspace
for curbside were the unfinished versions of the songs. except for scinnaman,
those are the scratch vocals. we are redoing those. yes, we plan to release
an album, and maybe a few ep's to get it started.
