Eats Coast Covers East Coast - Free Download

Postby clinton » Mon Dec 20, 2010 1:02 pm

The fine folks at Goosebury Records have released a free digital download album that features some Saint John talent. The information for this free download is below.

I was thrilled to be part of this release and am really blown away by the Saint John contributions. Adam Mowery does a heartbreaking version of Mike O'Neill's 'Andy' and Billy Braydon funks up Al Tuck's 'Eliminate Ya'. Penny Blacks did me the honour of covering my own 'Only Love / Only Fear' and The Formers and I took on Adam's 'Dear Mother'.

Though not a Saint John'er, Laura Meriman does a great version of Thrush Hernmit's 'Before You Leave'. Check it out!

Enjoy!

Sure! The drums (me) and bass (Adam Kierstead on this one) were recorded by Chris Fudge during the bed-tracking sessions for the Penny Blacks album. The rest of the tracks (including Ms Candice MacLean's debut vocal performance) were recorded by Jason at home on his PC (not sure what program he uses). The rundown should be this if memory serves me correctly:

Jason Ogden - Vocals, Acoustic Guitars, Harmony Vocals
Candice MacLean - Harmony Vocals
Adam Kierstead - Bass Guitar
Clinton Charlton - Drums
Chris Braydon - Electric Guitars
Ali Leonard - Violins
Erin Sharpe - Cello
Dan Chamberlain - Organ

Thanks for your interest. Download the record!

I was never a fan of that. I really just want to watch some TV and eat chips when it's over. Sorry to burst your bubble.
