I just heard the first single so far. The vocal performance is stunning. How is the rest of the album?

Every bit as good. Even the bonus tracks are absolutely brilliant. The Once Soundtrack will always be one of my favorite albums ever, so I am hesitant to make comparisons, but in a lot of cases this new album sounds like Once would have with a full band; sort of a cross between Once and his early stuff with The Frames. In any event, I strongly encourage anyone to purchase this album.

This is the single Matt mentioned. As he said, the vocal performance is incredible. Really cool song too; notice the way he avoids the predictability of 6m, 5, 4, in the verses by playing 6m, 5, 5b dim, 4.
