Canadian "Indie" labels leave CRIA

I know there are lots of different feelings on this, but I don't think government involvement in music is a good thing. It sounds like the big point of contention between these groups is Cancon regs. I personally think Cancon gets lame/old Canadian music played on the radio, instead of artists and companies having to step up to the plate and make something interesting enough for people to want to play it.

How hard would you work, if you knew someone had to buy your music whether it was any good or not?

I don't know, it's just how I feel about it. It is a complicated issue.
