Sleepyhead

Has anyone else seen this band? They're from Japan and they've been in town for several weeks, playing at various venues. They remind me of a japanese Radiohead. They came out to Cougars last Sunday night and are planning on coming back out this Sunday. Worth catching, they're neat.

What is their gimmick? That they are Japanese? Delay units?

I dont see how being Japanese would be gimmicky but using a delay pedal constantly on every song is a least a bit of a crutch, just sing man.

I understand your point, however I still enjoyed it. He sang far enough away from the mic that I could bring the level up enough to get the drums involved in a bit of the delay action, which sounded very cool.

They are also some of the most polite and respectful people I've ever met.

Since when are gimmicks a bad thing... Jimi Hendrix, Kiss, Gwar, Sean Roach's hair... all gimmicks.
