I like brothers. I have brothers. I have one sister, although everyone is surprised at that. I'm pretty sure she still exists though. I think she works in the same building as me. Either that or she lives in Fresno, California. I should really enquire about her more...

Steve: I'm gonna listen to that tonight!

clinton: any time, anywhere beautiful! also, i have a lot of songs, so you will hear more!

humeurs: i can dig it!

all: i am also open to criticisms and suggestions on the recording. sound quality, technique, whatnot. i'm trying to learn how to do this better with
little equipment.

i have tapco mix 100, fender acoustic electric, apex435 condensor mic.
i am recording from mixer to computer using reaper.

I finally got a chance to listen to it last night. I like your solo stuff a lot, it's an interesting character shift from "Collide" to "Steve".

Nice Jorb...

Hi Steve,

I used to play with Down With The Butterfly; we did a show with Curbside at Elwoods a few years back. Maybe you remember. Anyways, I really enjoyed the Prawjek! Glad to hear it is back on the go again.

As for the solo stuff, you were looking for some criticisms (constructive, of course): I'm not a big fan of the guitar tone. It sounds very acoustic-electric, and not so much acoustic and real. I'm guessing you recorded the guitar straight and mic'ed the vocals. If that is the case, I think it could sound a lot nicer mic'ing the acoustic and recording it that way.

I love down with the butterfly! and, i also totally remember that show. thank you sir.

also, thank you for the feedback. you are indeed correct. i plugged the thing in to see how the recording would come out. i was never sure if i liked the way it sounded. i will try with a mic next time. someone else suggested the same. i love acoustic guitar, but i don't know much about
recording them.

which 'down with' are you? also, how you been? up to any musics these days?

Hi Steve,

I was the bass player with Down With The Butterfly; and in our new video I play the evil corporate business man. Yeah!

I still play bass with Kris and Dave (from DWTB); they have their own folk band called Acres & Acres.

I am also writing my own songs and hopefully in 2010, I'll get out of the house and start playing some live shows. Most of my musician friends still live in Halifax so I need to get out and make some new friends here in New Brunswick.
