I was reading some ignorant types trying to compare MJ with current "popstars" (Britney etc.). They were trying to demote him to a typical "Producer's" performer and someone cross posted this link:

Bill Wolfer, who played on Thriller, talks about MJs involvement in the recording process. I had read this thread some while ago, but now it seems timely and relevant.

Very sad indeed.

My version of the Thriller CD has an interview at the end with Quincy Jones talking about the making of the album. Pretty amazing stuff. Michael's demo of Billie Jean is on it too. Very cool.

That's the Limited edition version. I got that too, it's pretty neat.

Caught much of the memorial service today. Great stories, and some great music.

I'm a big fan of the Steve Porcaro song off Thriller, and love how this started.... and then the band came in.
