Mixerman

So, over the past day or so, I've been re-reading Mixerman, and I recently googled it, and found this:

http://blogs.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.ListAll&friendId=469701552

So is this actually the probable identity of Mixerman?

To set a conspiracy... What if that guy just posted that to try and hi-jack Mixerman's fame?

And what if really Courtney Love was married to him.
And Kurt Cobain and Elvis lived together in Santa Monica.

I can see what you mean, but at the end they had Dumb Ass as their keyboardist and a Jamaican drummer, didn't they? There is a Jamaican in it though... And a jeans reference!

It's been so long since I've read the book, I'm not remembering the connections. Can you spell it out for me?

The band my opinion has always been Nine Days who had the small hit Absolutely (Story of a Girl) in 2000 before the session in the book. If you read through the wiki profile it'll make a lot of sense. That Slow Roosevelts video/song though it pretty scary in it's depiction of what I thought the band looked and sounded like though. Eric has stated that the band is not Nine Days and he swears that Ron Aniello is not Willy Show. So I'm still undecided...

He could just be saying that to cover his ass though.

You're right. It's one thing to out yourself, but to out the band would be a whole different thing.
