With Stonebridge Guitars from the UK. They make beautiful handmade guitars that are used by some great names like J.P. Cormier, Dave Gunning and Antoine DuFour. I ordered a BEAUTIFUL Model 32 OM size spruce top that should be here in a couple of weeks.

Check them out:

Good for you and more importantly, good for them. You will be an excellent rep for their instruments.

Congrats!

I need an acoustic this fall! This is a great coincidence, no? They look gorgeous and I'm sure they sound that way too.

Congrats, man! I'm very happy to hear this. I'm gonna look them up tomorrow at work.

Thanks Malcolm, that's quite a compliment!

Matt yeah, definatly check them out...Dan Downes plays one if you've ever seen The Shaggy Dogs live. They're amazing instruments. Also, take me guitar shopping with you, it's my favourite thing (and why I have 19 acoustics!)

:-D

What are some of the price ranges of these guitars? Cna I get a good guitar for under $1000 after taxes?

not for a Stonebridge no. The one I ordered retails for $3249.00.

You can get some really excellent guitars for under a grand though. Guild comes to mind and the entire Godin line has some sweet guitars (Seagulls are up there with the big boys if you ask me...and you sorta did ask me!). When you're ready to buy, let's go shopping.

My Fender acoustic probably has a retail value of $400 and it's one of my fave acoustic sounds i've ever heard. It's deep and rich, yet powerfull. You pretty much have to shop around, see if you can find a gem in a pile of shit (if only that happened in real shit...).
I agree with the Godin Guitars, they're pretty badasstical.
