In the end he released Born To Run and showed them all anyway.... but I hold grudges. Billy Joel is cool and has some good songs but a Bruce Springsteen he ain't.
ps - I always liked "A Matter Of Trust" and "Allentown".

You MUST be joking right? Born To Run is one of the greatest rock n' roll albums of all time. I know River Of Dreams was catchy but they just don't exist on the same plane.
