As far as I know, this is not an issue in Canada yet.

There are many conversations in various live audio forums discussing the impact of all this. The facts are that the bandwidth makes more money for mobile providers so they get the bandwidth as far as the US government is concerned. It doesn't seem to matter that it's putting the boots to a huge section of the live pro audio world.

It was suggested by someone to give wired microphones to all the elected representatives at events in the states and explain to them that their wireless systems are now illegal to use.
