I use Fido. You can't get it out here (my mom sent it to me from out west). The service is usually good, but as it's part of Rogers it makes that noise when there's an incoming text or call and it's near a speaker. I think in the future I might have a Matt-related death while recording

I can tell before you get the call.

I like Bell, because when I sell one of their phones they give me $40. Other than that, they pretty much suck.

I love the fact that my new-ish Palm Pre doesn't seem to suffer from that "data buzz" that a lot of the Blackberry and other phones seem to have in spades.

:-)

Yeah it's not a phone thing, it's most definitely a carrier thing. Anyone using Rogers networks usually have it. But people using Bell or Telus networks don't.

I just got an iPhone from Rogers a month and a half ago and before j had a regular cell with telus. With telus I could barely send a text from my house, with Rogers I have full service at my house. The way it was explained to me was that Rogers and bell are the two big companies that own there own set of towers. The other companies lease from one of the two big companies and get not as good service as bell or Rogers
