Gamblor posted this in GC and I thought I'd bring it here as it might be relavent to our interests.

Fortunately no one has to get a court order to figure out who I am, as my name's in the signature of every post. I also have "Matt Benoit" status at Middle Audio.

People sure do like to make lawyers a lot of money.

And as a side note, I can only hope to someday aspire to come close to being able to possibly claim Matt Benoit status.

I am a fan of many forums that require inclusion of actual identity in your profile. I find that cuts down on the BS in a huge way.

Many argue against this policy, but if you're afraid of saying something based on fear of personal repercussion, you probably shouldn't be saying it in public... IMO.

Or at all.

I like the way we have it here. The mods are identified and the rest can choose to be if they want. We got it pretty good here... Y'know, so long as I'm behaving and all.

So...you're saying it sucks here then, is that it? I'm confused.
