I was wondering if anyone here has any experience putting music onto the iTunes store? The two options I've looked into are Tunecore and CDbaby, I'd just love to hear if anybody has actually used either of these websites.

Clinton was the one to recommend CDbaby to me, so he should have some input.

Indiepool is great as well, and they can upload to multiple sites. I know they include iTunes, CDBaby, Tunecore, Amazon, and many others. Costs a bit of money, though I think they're rates are fairly reasonable.

I'm not a fan of Indiepool at all (hwo many of you have received e-mails from Trevor Norris telling you how much he absolutely LOVES your band?). My first experience with iTunes was through an indie label in PEI called Sandbar Music Group. After I realized that they were a complete waste of my time and that I could be ding this all myself, I signed up with CD Baby. They're great (Tony The Tiger!). They distribute to all of the usual suspects like imeem, amazon, napster, etc and their prices are terrific. Their support staff is awesome and their reports are clear and easy to understand. Good company.

Great, I'll probably go with CDbaby then. Thanks a lot!

I'll second the idea of using CD Baby.

My old band worked with them and we have no complaints.
