So I want to do some work on my Dads 73' Fender Tele. The person that worked on the guitar before, leveled off the frets like 3 too many times. So the frets are down to the Wood for the most part. What I want to do is get someone to replace the frets on the guitar, so I was wondering if anyone on the forum knows of anyone that could do this kind of work. I'm going to be extremely particular about who does this because it's the most treasured guitar in the house, but I figured this would be a good start.

Thanks,

Dylan

I'm actually curious about that myself... I know of a dude on the west side named Paul...

Thom Chandler at Munro's does re-fretting. I don't know how busy he is or what his prices are now, but at one time he was doing it for around $5 per fret.
