There is one of these at Beats and Bytes for $40. It is, by no means, a new product. Looks like it is in good shape. I thought somebody here might be interested. Yes, that is what I thought.

I'm not made of $40 bills or anything, but this is relevant to my interests. Since my TM18 already has a redbox option, I should hold off in case someone else wants this more?

I assume that if I plug an amp's speaker out into the input, unless I also run a cable out into a cab (or a load box or something to handle the load), I will blow things up?

Hey, wait a second...redbox out plus speaker out into EDI = stereo crazy times? Simultaneous pure signal plus effects, variations...hmmm!

Edit: Decided not to pick it up - with no cab and no dummy load, I wouldn't even be able to test it out to make sure it worked!

Yep, you would definitely need a speaker or some kind of load if you wanted to use the EDI. I would grab that myself but I need to save all my pennies to get a tooth fixed.
