So I love stuff like this...

So I came across this little exchange http://www.giraffecycle.com/index.php?p ... lassifieds

A 200watt Peavey Bandit 112... I don't think so. I love when guys try and peddle stuff like this, like there's no way to check and see if such a thing exists.

And yeah, I'm the guy that posted the link to axemusic.com. That's the only post I made. I had to do it.

Checked the manual (NO...I don't own a Peavey, thank you very much... :) ) Consumes 200W. A lot of peeps incorrectly equate this number with output power.

I just love the attitude you get from these type of people when you point out that they're wrong about the spec. Even when confronted with actual documents.... you're still wrong!

I recently got into it on a forum with someone selling another piece of gear. They were advertising it as 700watts... and captioned it with "lots of power" and it turned out to be this: http://www.peavey.com/media/pdf/manuals/thepa400.pdf

They still maintained that it had 700watts of "something"....

I said... probably heat....

PeeVee's standard 400BH power module. I think they used to build everything around that puppy....and "yes", the label on the back stated 700 watts. Just didn't mention that it is indeed consumption.
