Merely enablers, or complicit in the proliferation of illegal drugs??
Referring to to our government of course.
Consider this:
The possession and consumption of opioids such as fentanyl, carfentanyl, heroin, et al, is illegal in Canada.
How can it be that the government on both the federal and provincial levels now appears to condone the use of these drugs by setting up, and allowing to be set up, safe injection sites?
Top that off with tax dollars spent on Naloxone kits to counteract overdoses which encourages the continuation of the addiction cycle which in most cases involves crime in the form of theft (at minimum) to support said addiction.
How is this helping reduce the use of these drugs?
It's not.
I take exception to my taxes being spent on supporting and growing this "crisis".

So, you've decided to leave Canada and take up arms against our ideals and our people.
This is not a video game. When you lose you do not get to respawn and start over like nothing ever happened.
You forfeit your Canadian citizenship and live with the consequences of your decision.
....unless the Liberals are in power.

Dear Premier Gallant,
Please do not pave my lawn.

Thank you.

I have not seen this level of paving activity in my lifetime. The Liberals must be extremely nervous.

Participate.
Vote.
However....do not believe ANY politician during this or any campaign.
Candidates will say and do anything to get elected.

Sincerely,
Captain Obvious.

Shouldn't the Trudeau campaign be flying Canadian made Bombardier aircraft instead of US made Boeing?
Same question to all candidates....

For a moment I actually thought Baby Justins’ aid bill had the nations interest in mind. Thanks for turning it into a Liberal power grab!!

Guns don’t kill people....people kill people.
With this in mind, I’m proposing an immediate ban on the sale, use, transport, purchase, and import of all military style people.
These people are meant for one thing only:
To kill as many people as possible, as fast as possible.

The federal government expects doctors, nurses, truckers, cashiers, and many other front line workers to remain on the job, yet feel that they need not.
Two possible conclusions can be drawn from this:
1 - They feel superior to us
2 - They are non-essential

I took my hunter safety course at 14.
I held an FAC, and currently hold a PAL which to the uninformed means that I have been vetted twice by the RCMP.
I hold a PI license and am currently waiting on a military security clearance.
I have never been arrested or even to court.
Such a warm fuzzy feeling to know that PM Silverspoon deems me to be untrustworthy and a potential risk to public safety.

What America looks like from someone who doesn't live there...
- Sore losers because their favorite political party lost an election and are willing to destroy the entire country because of it. Deliberately slowing down progress and going against EVERYTHING put forward by a duly elected administration whether it is a good idea or not.
- Polarizing the country, turning it into a binary state where people have to either agree 100% with everything on the agenda, or get censored and become a social outcast.
- Weaponized racism; media's focus on skin colour when it has little to do with a story, trying to create situations to further drive a wedge between people of different cultures.
- Media that hopes you will assume the actions of a few represent the actions of a whole group. Example - bad cops, corrupt government, rioting protesters, etc. further dividing the population.

Good post Jef.
I agree that the media had lost its impartiality. It’s now infotainment, Fox vs CNN. The spillover is that no one trusts anything they see or hear anymore as it’s assumed that the source has an agenda.

I see the gov has been quietly expanding the list of banned firearms. The new items include shotguns and .22s based solely on appearance.
I’m gonna put rainbow and unicorn stickers on mine.... just in case.

Any hunters here ever use “...an AR15 to take down a deer”?
Didn’t think so.
1) .223 / 5.56 is debatably too light as well as illegal in at least one province.
2) AR15 was already classified as restricted, meaning that unless a deer wandered across the approved range that you’re at, opportunity was 0%.
Further highlights Justin’s apparent ignorance of this issue and exposes the ban as nothing more than fear-mongering.

Why not do something meaningful with that postage paid post card that you’ve received ?
Write your MP. Write your MLA. Write the PM.
What a great opportunity!

I wonder if if my personal files have been accessed recently by the feds or agents thereof.
