Sorry for the ignorance, but what exactly is a BIN/CUE file?

Actually 2 files. One is a "cue" that directs your burning software. The other is a "bin" or binary file that contains the actual data to be burned.

How about you find someone who owns a MAC with a burner?

Since you're saying it's probably PAL format, I'm assuming it's a VCD, SVCD or DVD. Even if it was created on a MAC, you should be able to burn it using a PC with Nero, just select "record from image" (or something like that I'm at work atm) and select the cue file and go.

Thanx, but "no".
It's a bin/cue file that was created with Stuffit. I have the Windows version of Stuffit, and it's reply to my attempts to access the file is essentially "WTF?".
Using Nero directly to try to burn it produces the same results.
The fact that it is PAL is secondary, as Nero will indeed have no problem converting to NTSC...if I ever get the file burned in the first place.

There is always the possibility that the file is corrupt...

I'm unaware of Stuffit making bin/cue files. It's just a compressor/expander like .ZIP. If anything if it was done on a MAC it was probably made with toast, but again NERO/Alcohol 120% or most other burning files *should* handle bin/cue files made with anything. Weird.

Indeed. I may take a serious 2nd look at it before I trash it and look for another copy.

This website shows a step by step method of mounting a virtual optical thingy and viewing the bin/cue/dat... whatever files. (works, I tried it)

Looks promising.
I'll give it a try in the a.m. when I'm back at work, which is where the file is.

Thanx!
