In fairness, it's tough to keep qualified people working at a music store. So if someone is really out to lunch I usually just take it with a grain of salt and move on. The only thing that really pisses me off are when sales clerks make stuff up that we both know is not true. Especially when they act arrogant and superior. I respect someone so much more if they would just say, "I don't know but i'll find out and get back to you."

Thankfully having spent some time on the other side of the counter, i'm usually knowledgeble enough to be able to communicate, subtely, that I know they're just bullshtting. That feels so good sometimes.
