I can't seem to follow everyone. Maybe there are to many people with the word Diva in their name.

I changed Aphro's last name to a more fitting "Deejia" now her name makes more sense it terms of how I felt about her at the time, and you only have to worry about one Diva. ;-)

If you want a character list I can give you one though.

In all seriousness, there are a few reasons this time around that I won't be able to return. By my final post on January 1st. You'll understand why. There's one thing I forgot to do each time I left, this time I won't forget... And you'll only see it here at Middle Audio.

Haha... Either way, just remember that picture guys. You'll be seeing it around.

It could be either a bird or a lobster at that resolution though. Yet if you ever see the full picture, you'll probably notice some much more interesting things than that....lol

Sure,

Taytor needs a special cable made for the PA downstairs to connect a CD player to the mixer and he wants it to be at least 20' in length. He asked if I could have that built. I said "Sure, I'll talk to Alain, and he can build you that but it won't be free." Taytor said "That's fine, just give me the invoice."

I brought him the cable on time as requested, and gave him the invoice. He thanked me, and took the invoice. At the end of the night I told him I'd need that invoice paid. He asked if he could do it the next day as he had already locked up the office. I said "Sure, I'll get it from you when I arrive for setup first thing tomorrow."

When I went in the next day to settle the invoice. Taytor wanted to know what was up with the one hour labour charge. I explain to him that any amount of work requires a minimum charge of one hour of labour. He began to tell me that he thought that was gouging and that he was upset that a friend of his like Alain would do this to him [yeah I didn't get that memo either].

I gave him 3 options:

1. Give me back the cable and don't pay the invoice.

2. If you can find any business that does this kind of fabrication, and doesn't charge a minimum one hour labour, or "bench fee", I'll buy the invoice off of you.

3. Come to the shop, pay for your materials, and consumables, build the cable yourself. If you can build a 'working' cable in under an hour, I'll buy the invoice off you.

He then threw the cheque at me and said "You tell him I'm not impressed." I replied "Tell him yourself." And while he's at it he can explain why his auditor sent Alain a T4A for a piece of equipment that Alain sold to him. I'm certain Alain would love to have that chat.

But y'know since their such good friends and all it stands to reason to Alain can probably call up Taytor and get free tickets to a show. I mean by that logic and all... :-P

I just wanted to be clear. He wanted the work done for pretty much nothing. That was my understanding.
