R.I.P. Roger "Syd" Barrett
Posted: Tue Jul 11, 2006 10:07 pmI'm sure everyone who cares already knows, but Syd passed away last Friday at age 60 (just reported today) from complications of diabetes. I'm a huge Syd fan (heck I've even had friends laugh at me for buying the Crazy Diamond box set years ago) and this is a sad day for music. I always thought that he'd make some kinda appearance/interview/write his memoirs before he passed on
