Sad news.

The guy was a real talent, full of emotion and intense about his love of the music.

My favourite memory of him is the songwriters circle he was part of during Festival By The Sea some years back. It was obvious why he was a popular sideman before and after his Platinum Blonde days.

Very sad news......

I am glad I had the opportunity to be in Atlantica with him (albeit briefly). His talent was off the charts.....I'd be sitting there banging away and he is all over the room in the middle of a song programming sequences on Greg's keyboard as we are all playing......he was so passionate about it. I wish I had of been able to play with him longer.......

Such an incredible shame.

It appears this is one of the things he had been doing since leaving town:

It goes to show you he was serious about getting involved in the education end of things. I still wonder if part of his problems here weren't caused by the realization of what he got involved in at that other "school".
