Really goes to show that the most important part of a signal chain for vocals is... the vocals! Shitty mics with great singers is still great singers.

How can you even tell what kind of mics they are using with those big furry wind screens on them? I don't think they would use a "shitty" mic for such a project. Some of the live mics look like lesser quality, but the recording mics ...hard to tell.

Yeah you're right I was just looking at the live mics. My bad. I wonder if out there somewhere there's project notes on what was used and how this was all organized?
