SUCKS IMHO.....i didn't have my hopes up, but a really kick ass, inspired guitar/vocal album would've worked for me this summer.....lame lame lame.....bad riffs, tunes, lyrics!

I don't have the album, but what I have heard didn't do much for me.

I agree the lyrics are way awful... and I like "Van Hagar".

Will Ferrell is a smokin' drummer though. ;-)

I'm sure there's more that a few that are disappointed with this little project.

Ha!

I'm guessing the friday night crowd at the three mile will like it though. If they ever hear about it anyways. I'm not a huge Hagar fan, but you would think with all the talent in the band, they could come up with something stellar. Oh well, supergroups are generally overrated.

in all honesty, the only folk, i think who will dig Chickenfoot are the musicians who have committed to liking it before hearing the album...based on personel and hype.....i know when i was younger i would force myself to digest and "like" an album based on my previous enjoyment of the band.....i went through that with bands like Extreme, Queensryche and even took a stab at digging St Anger LOL...just to name a few!

after the years pass, you look back and wonder "how the hell did i spend so much time on this record?" ....sometimes it's the opposite! "how did i miss the magic in this stuff 10 years ago?"
