Crown amp distortion...

Thom, this thing is crapping out on the left channel... again ?

any thoughts ?

Hmmm, I just turned it on... and it's clean, so I guess it's just a matter of time before it starts crapping out again ?

Could be a weak output transistor. When you're not using it for a couple of nights, drop it by and I'll bench it to see if I can pin-point the problem.

OK, I just left it on for about an hour or so... and it's fadding to farty distortion.


So, I'll take it out of the rack for servicing...
