I'm pulling the proverbial plug....

For the past 10 years I have been working one full-time and two (occasionally three) part time jobs, and I must say....I am fucking burnt.

So...

I have decided that for the immediate future at least, I will no longer be accepting gear for repair.

I would highly recommend Fluid Audio Group as a repair centre, and will be acting as a consulting tech with them, so your gear will be in good hands.

I will of course continue to moderate this forum, and answer any and all questions to the best of my abilities.

u1176 is doing a great job on the service end, and I continue to refer all my old clients to him.

I have finally cleared out almost all of my backlog.

It's a good feeling.

Thanks fawker, now I'm swamped.

Tommorrow I am going to the Community College and recruiting some part time help, that is if I can find anyone qualified.

so does that mean my Grundig is at Al's now? It was a green two-track reel to reel.

ahhh sad, I was hoping it would get that Chandler touch. Marc told me that if anyone could revive it, it was you. I'll pop out on Saturday morning and grab 'er. I know Al quite well so I'll pop it by his place, it'll be a good excuse to catch up, haven't seen Al in ages.

What's your number Al? I'll give you a shout sometime and we'll meet up. Hey Tom, would you mind putting my name on that bad boy for me so that there's no confusion on Saturday.

Sorry about that. I didn't contact a bunch of people, but yours is the last piece left in limbo.
