What kind of wireless Josh?

Some issues are easy to deal with, while others can mean a visit back to the manufacturer.

It's a wireless lav mic pack. I think its a Shure. The receiver is working fine, and i know that because we checked it with the other pack that we have.

The place to start is a good visual inspection. Could be as simple as a cold or broken solder joint.

We sent it away to a company in Quebec and they sent it back and said it was fixed but it wasn't. The maker is AKG if that helps you at all. On a side note, I was up town today the 13 of june and Iwas going to go to D&D sound but it was closed. Any idea why?

LD keeps the door locked unless he knows you are coming. Call ahead (....ummmm...yeah.....) and make an appointment.
AKG was distributed by Erikson Pro, but now by Soundcraft Canada. Perhaps sending it to them instead?

D&D is not really a 9-5 retail type of place. Just stopping by, and expecting someone there is being an optimist.

Lawrence could really use someone just to tend shop when he's not around, but it is what it is.

Do you know if he is hiring any one? I'm looking for a job this summer, and I was hoping to work there, if I could.

Based on experience, my guess would be "no", but you have nothing to lose by asking him.

So does he yet have a cell phone, or is he still in denial? I'm sure he's heard it a million times, but he's a tough cat to get in contact with in times of audio need.

Still just the land-line, so far as I know.
