ART Tube Preamp Mod

Postby Mathieu Benoit » Thu Nov 27, 2008 8:38 pm

Alright... Here's what I was thinking for the first showing. Inputs and Outputs on both units cranked, and then I'll pan them hard left and right as a 15 second stereo clip. This will demonstrate the severe drop in the noise floor.

Second will be to get some vocal and/or guitar and see what we think of the actually sonic difference regardless of the excess noise in the un-moded one.

Does this work for everyone? Any other suggestions?

Thanks!

How does everyone feel of one stereo track as opposed to two seperate mono tracks?

I like stereo. Only one file to download that way. Most of us have some kind of DAW that we can seperate it and listen to the tracks individually.
