The Weather

94 C here, in SJ, at 9pm. I really felt it as I was doing some light yard work, sweating, with the sun at our horizon. How is it, up there in Fredericton, macrae?

The forcast says the high was 31ºC or about 88ºF which is bull. A friend posted a picture of thermometer on FB that read 37ºC or 98.5ºF. It's 10:30 at night here and it's still 25ºC. Too damn hot either way.

It was 25° on WATER street as I was walking back for the board walk a few minutes ago.
Quite eerie really. Most of you may know I live uptown by the water and it's never like this, started warming up right around 10:30 after the fireworks.

One of the nicest nights here in a while. I didn't think it was over 90 degrees C though... :-P

Had one of my dogs for a walk and the breeze is warm right now.

Dropped the kids off for their last day of school this morning at around 8:20am and it had to have been 25 degrees already... crazy.

So a potential Tornado warning here in Fredericton. Heard it on CBC this morning. So what kind of mic should I use to record the incident? I'm guessing a SM57. Perhaps I should mic each room in an omni polar pattern, with a condesnor to capture the high's and mix them together. Probably lots of phasing going to happen.....

I'd go with a pair of SDC in ORTF. Since a good stereo image is where it's at with tornados.

Having a bit of a real summer here. As long as it stays not too humid, I'm just fine with it. :-D

Having one of those rare evenings in East SJ where I can sit out on my deck at 9PM and not be freezing or eaten alive by bugs... Beauty day.
